The Pearl River EU-122 (48-Inch) Pro Studio and GH-160 (5’3”) Baby Grand are designed by Lothar Thomma, an internationally known engineer who has spent his entire career developing and refining piano scale designs. Mr. Thomma’s influence on both models has created a European-sounding piano, with warm, full bodied tones throughout the bass and midrange, and treble notes with sparkling highs. The actions are designed to have just the right amount of weight and key dip to offer an incredibly expressive musical instrument.

I came in your store last Thursday with my friend. I just wanted to thank you for your time in going over ther Uprights and Grand Pianos with us. I enjoyed trying out that Yamaha C3, however, I have to say after trying out that Steinway, a couple Bechsteins and a Yamaha C7 (another store), I totally LOVED that Mason & Hamlin new AA/6’4″ you had. They said some people just found a piano that ‘wowed’ them and now I know what they mean.

Slow-Close Fallboards

Shorter Lid Prop

A standard feature on all grands and baby grands here at HPC is the lower lid prop. Lowering the lid height reduces sound for nighttime play, or to mute overtones while accompanying a singer. (more…)
