The Pearl River EU-122 (48-Inch) Pro Studio and GH-160 (5’3”) Baby Grand are designed by Lothar Thomma, an internationally known engineer who has spent his entire career developing and refining piano scale designs. Mr. Thomma’s influence on both models has created a European-sounding piano, with warm, full bodied tones throughout the bass and midrange, and treble notes with sparkling highs. The actions are designed to have just the right amount of weight and key dip to offer an incredibly expressive musical instrument.

Over three thousand workers contribute to the engineering and manufacturing of Pearl River-branded pianos.  Both models are made with perfect fit and finish and classic styling to accent the home. All materials used in the pianos are of the highest quality, including tone-wood quality spruce for sounding boards, Chinese walnut for rims, sand-cast iron plates, and hard rock maple parts for the actions. The magic is found in the final product, a combination of excellent design, high quality materials, and superior workmanship.
