BE CURIOUS AND PLAY
Our central philosophical belief at HPC stems from the Recreational Music Making (RMM) model — group lessons as the cornerstone of our classes with an emphasis on music-making being an enjoyable experience rather than an apprehensive endeavor.
Though RMM is the backbone of the program, we use it in combination with serious study of technique and theory, with the intent of encouraging further exploration and greater concentration. We believe that a well-rounded child benefits from the positive effects of peer interaction, play, and healthy competition (as well as one-on-one instruction for fine-tuning individual concerns).
Our school is centrally located in the Heights with our campus nestled in between our showrooms, workshop, and Grand Recital Hall. We offer a wide array of classes for every age from beginners to seasoned performers, the pleasure-seeker or the serious hobbyist.
Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art Roland Digital Pianos that engage students in an interactive learning process. Each piano includes a selection of preloaded sound libraries to assist children with ‘practice fatigue,’ as well as Roland’s DigiScore for additional ‘skill-building exercises’ and games.
With 88 fully weighted keys and SuperNATURAL sound, students enjoy the benefits of practicing on a realistic feeling piano while having access to enhanced features only available with digital.
We provide experienced, caring teachers, who understand the joy of music-making and who love working with their students to see them reach their goals, stay motivated, and exceed their expectations at every stage of development.
