Houston Piano Company is very proud to introduce the amazing line of Kingsburg pianos to the Houston market. These pianos have to be experienced in person to be fully appreciated. I am a self-professed piano snob with expensive taste, and I love ‘em… I bet you will too!
What makes Kingsburg so different from all the others and such a great investment? Glad you asked! A short answer…”They are fun to play!” Now for a more in depth answer.

Kingsburg Pianos
The single most important factor in creating a great piano that will stand out from all the rest is the integrity of the piano design. All Kingsburg piano scales were created by one of the all-time world’s most prized scale designers and artisans, Klaus Fenner. He is the brains behind the design of some of the top instruments in the world from prestigious German piano companies like Seiler, as well as Yamaha, Baldwin and many others. Very few designers today possess the knowledge and skill Mr. Fenner does for fashioning powerful pianos that sing and sustain like others costing three or four (more…)

Perzina GP-122 (48-Inch) Professional Upright
Beauty in tone and cabinetry meets moderate pricing in this offering from Germany’s Perzina Brothers. Originally founded in 1871 the company recently celebrated 140 years in fine piano making. This 48-inch model is adorned in exotic African Bubinga wood combined with traditional Polished Ebony.
Superior grade hammers give it a rich, mellow tone which performs at any dynamic level without distortion. A unique “floating soundboard” design yields surprising power in the bass register by increasing the flexibility (flux) of the board’s movement near the bass bridge – similar to a large speaker cone which floats freely in a suspended coil. The resulting tone makes the Perzina a delight to play!
Other impressive features include all-wood pedal works (eliminates potential for unwanted rattling), slow-close key cover, hand-made European action, deluxe artist bench and world-class Austrian White Spruce soundboard.

The Pearl River EU-122 (48-Inch) Pro Studio and GH-160 (5’3”) Baby Grand are designed by Lothar Thomma, an internationally known engineer who has spent his entire career developing and refining piano scale designs. Mr. Thomma’s influence on both models has created a European-sounding piano, with warm, full bodied tones throughout the bass and midrange, and treble notes with sparkling highs. The actions are designed to have just the right amount of weight and key dip to offer an incredibly expressive musical instrument.
Over three thousand workers contribute to the engineering and manufacturing of Pearl River-branded pianos. Both models are made with perfect fit and finish and classic styling to accent the home. All materials used in the pianos are of the highest quality, including tone-wood quality spruce for sounding boards, Chinese walnut for rims, sand-cast iron plates, and hard rock maple parts for the actions. The magic is found in the final product, a combination of excellent design, high quality materials, and superior workmanship.
Brodmann Professional Edition 6 (February 2012)

Brodmann Professional Edition 6’ 2” Grand
The instrument that outperforms Bösendorfer at a third of the price of a Steinway.

Never before, has a piano offered so much for so little. The Brodmann Professional Edition pianos are comparably priced with the better mid-priced instruments from Yamaha, Kawai and Boston, yet far outperform them. Why? Because none of these pianos have the same quality of materials, or European scale design.

Features that set Brodmann apart from other mid-priced pianos:
- German Duplex Scale from the finest designers in the industry. Pianos with German duplex scale designs sing with much more harmonics than others.
- Top Quality German slow-growth white Austrian spruce soundboard and ribs by Strunz. These soundboards are made from woods that grow in a higher altitude and extremely cold climate. Trees from this region are hundreds of years old, grow slower and produce wood that is exceptionally dense. The more dense the wood, the better tone projection and sustain will be. Strunz soundboards are the choice by most German piano builders because of their superiority.

5’4″ Mason & Hamlin Professional Grand Piano
This piano—if it had a voice—would probably carry on a bit in this fashion: “I’m mad. I always thought I was good enough—excuse the language, but ‘darn it!’ I AM good enough—to be a 7’ grand!!!!” Yes, it’s kind of an angry piano that fills the room with phenomenal piano sound, and has a diminutive size, so it fits almost anywhere. Its superb engineering and meticulous hand-crafting make it a great value, and one that keeps appreciating.
Common features on only the Mason & Hamlin: a Crown Resonator System that makes it an heirloom piano, continuing to have the sustaining power throughout its life—where all other piano soundboards tend to flatten out over the years. Beautiful sounds; continually sustaining for the life of the piano, for your entire family, church or school. Because of its solid structure—it mass being roughly 150% of any comparable grand—give you a heavy, solid instrument for your finest classic piano sounds of any style.
Conclusion: For the dollar invested, this piano runs circles around other similar sized grands, in performance, features and in long-lasting value. Available in Satin Ebony, Polished Ebony and many other custom finishes. Backed by a 10-year parts warranty.
